LANSING, MI – The Michigan Chamber of Commerce recently announced their
endorsement of Paul Hudson for Supreme Court Justice. “Paul Hudson [is] committed to
the rule of the law and a fair, impartial court system that works for all and provides a
stable, predictable legal climate that’s crucial to Michigan’s job providers and economic
competitiveness,” said President & CEO Jim Holcomb. “We are proud to endorse [him] and
recommend [him] to Michigan voters.”

Paul Hudson has a balls-and-strikes approach that is grounded in his commitment to the
Constitution, the rule of law, and respect for the separation of powers. He knows that it is
up to the people’s elected representatives to determine policy matters, not the courts. He
understands that a vibrant and prosperous Michigan requires a justice system that is
impartial, fair, and consistent. As one of Michigan’s most experienced appellate lawyers, he
knows firsthand that for our system to work we need judges who make decisions based on
the law – not personal opinions or beliefs. Paul shared, “I am honored to be endorsed by
an organization that is committed to supporting an impartial court system. Together we
can ensure the rights and freedoms of people all over the state are protected for decades
to come.”

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is a statewide business organization representing
approximately 5,000 employers, trade associations and local chambers of commerce. The
Michigan Chamber represents businesses of every size and type in all 83 counties across
the state and employing more than 1 million Michiganders. The Chamber was established
in 1959 to be an advocate for Michigan’s job providers in the legislative, political and legal
process.
